The Book of the Week is... SOLIDER X! Solider X is a historical fiction book about a 16 year old German who is drafted into the German army. Erik can speak German, Russian, and English fluently, so when he becomes trapped beyond Russian lines, he pretends to be a Russian solider in order to save his life. Hurt and confused, Erik pretends to be Alexander, the person he stole the uniform from, but he prefers to go by X. Heart wrenching, Solider X is an amazing historical fiction that will keep readers on their toes. The book for the week is.... CRIMSON BOUND! Recommended for 9th and up.
