The Chronicles of Prydain series follow young Taran, assistant pig keeper, on his quest to become a hero. Taran makes amazing friendships with different people (or species) and has amazing adventures as he travels throughout the mystical land of Prydain. These books are so well written. The characters will make kids laugh and cry. This series is an enthralling series that will keep kids guessing until the very end.

One night, an unseemly man shows up at their door and Meg and her brother get thrust into a world of danger and magic.
