Hanson Alister is from Cinda Williams Chima, "The Seven Relams." AKA my favorite book with my favorite characters in the whole world. Hanson Alister is a thief and was once a the most powerful ganglord on the streets. I love thieves. Hanson has a lot of hidden talent as you find out later on in the series. He's got a really good sense of humor, and he's really sarcastic. He would do anything for his family and those he loves. Throughout the books, he's always thinking he's lost everything only to find he has one more thing left to lose.

William Herondale is from Cassandra Clare's, "The Infernal Devices". William is a Nephillim. He kills demons to protect the world and is basically a ninja with lots of class. Will is a very hard character to understand. He's always having this clash between 2 sides of himself. Will would do anything to save those he loves. He has the wittiest sense of humor and a sharp edged sarcasm. You usually never really can tell what he means, but once in a while he will say something really sincere and beautiful. He has the best one liners and keeps you thoroughly entertained throughout the book.

Katsa is from Kristin Cashore's, "Graceling." In the book, many people have "graces" or something they are good at. Katsa's just so happens to be killing. Her grace is shown by her 2 different colored eyes. She is a very fierce warrior who will stop at nothing to guard her heart. Her uncle, the king, whom she despises, forced her to guard her friend, and cousin, Raffin. Katsa is not who you think she is. She has hidden skills of survival and as she meets Prince Po and runs away, you get to watch her character develop and blossom.

Daniel "Day" Wing, is from Marie Lu's "Legend" series. Day is from a world where your worth is determined by your "trial score" which is basically your IQ. He apparently "fails" and becomes a thief to survive. He's cocky, confident, sarcastic, bold and often a bit charming. He is careless when it comes to his own safety, but he will do anything for those he loves. He doesn't often take note of others feelings and this can lead him to make reckless decisions. His character was very well written.

Adelina Amouteru is from Marie Lu's "The Young Elites." She can create illusions, which can either hide or shape people's or things forms. She has a dark past, which influences her personality greatly. She has twisted opinions about people and the world around her. According to the author, she "walks in darkness." Although she's incredibly dark, and a bit mad, Adelina is just looking for someone that will truly except her the way she is. She's a really good character because she has so many different sides to her.

Julie, nicknamed Queenie, is from the heartwarming book Code Name Verity. She was previously a famous British questioner. Now, she is a prisoner of war. Fierce, loyal, and a good liar, Queenie does everything she can to protect the government she works for. The way she writes entices the reader and leaves you wanting more. Although you might think she is a coward at first, don't judge her too quickly. Queenie is brave, cunning, and wise. She takes sacrifices for her country and her best friend Maddie.

She would never to anything to hurt anyone. She is very humble and thinks that she's not pretty at all. Marianne is every girl's fantasy hero.
