Although I cannot relate, I know that not everyone likes reading, and that's okay. Here are some great books that even reluctant readers will like.
If you are looking for an amazing fantasy read, the "Red Queen" series by Victoria Aveyard will certainly please you. This book is about two different classes of people, the lowly Reds, people with red blood, who are crushed by the all powerful Silvers, who have silver blood. The Silvers have powers and the Reds do not. So what happens when someone with Red blood just so happens to have more powerful powers than all of the Silvers? Destruction.

Percy Jackson is a book that just about everybody loves. It's a long series with many other brake off series'. It's about a boy named Percy, who finds out he has special powers from his father, who just so happens to be Poseidon. He is taken to a camp and finds out their are a lot of other kids who are the children of Greek Gods. Throughout the books, Percy goes on lots of adventures. Rick Riordan is a masterful storyteller.

"Hook's Revenge" is a fun read that keeps you hooked (ha ha) throughout the book. Jocelyn wants to follow in her infamous father, James Hook's footsteps, but her strict grandfather has other ideas that involve Ladies School, dancing, parties, and lots of pink. Way too much pink. When Jocelyn receives a letter from her father telling her to avenge his death, Jocelyn is far too happy to run away off to the adventurous life of being a pirate, but it's not as easy as it seems...

If you are looking for a fast paced, easy read, "Midnight for Charlie Bone" is the book for you. Charlie Bone can hear voices from pictures. Charlie finds out that his powers come from his ancestor, the Red King. His aunts and supposedly his father, also have powers, but his father is gone and thought dead, and his Aunts are scheming witches. Amidst this confusion, Charlie Bone is sent to Bloors Academy where he discovers how to use his powers and meets new friends.

"Flora and Ulysses" is an amazing, Newberry winning, book. It's told partly in poetry, regular writing, and graphic novels. It's a very funny book. Flora Belle Buckman's adventure starts when she saves a squirrel and names it Ulysses. Little does she know, Ulysses is no ordinary squirrel. He is an extremely advanced, strong, intelligent, poetry writing squirrel. As Flora begins to let her heart open, her life changes for the better.

"Michael Vey: Prisoner of Cell 25" is an action packed teen thriller. The book is about a relate-able, 14 year old named Michael Vey. To everyone at his high school, at least those who notice him, he's just a quiet boy, but secretly Michael has special powers. Electric powers. Alone in his knowledge, Michael thinks he's the only one with these powers, but when he and his friend Ostin find out that the super hot cheerleader, Taylor has similar electric powers, they go on extreme adventures.

Legend is a dystopian book set in the once western United States, which is now a Republic. The Republic has a test, kind of like the SAT's, that tells you how smart, or not smart you are. Depending on that, you either get a good job, or get a life on the streets. It tells the story of 2 very different people with two very different lifestyles. Born in the slums, Day is a thief, with a very hard past. Born to the life of a noble, June is recorded as the highest scoring person on the Republic's test. Somehow, these two very different people meet. This ushers in many different problems that could threaten to crush each world.
